Federico P. Lemos is a sole trader (trabajador autónomo) registered in Spain and is the natural person responsible for the website www.spanishwithfede.com (hereinafter, the “Website”).
2. Purpose
This Legal Notice governs access to, browsing of and use of the Website, through which the Owner provides information about, and access to, the following services: (i) the sale of downloadable digital learning materials (such as PDF documents and audio files) relating to the Spanish language; and (ii) one-to-one online Spanish lessons. The contracting of those services is governed by the Terms and Conditions published on the Website, which prevail over this Legal Notice in the event of any conflict relating to contracted services.
3. Conditions of Use
Access to the Website is free of charge and confers the status of user. By accessing and using the Website, the user accepts this Legal Notice in the version published at the time of access and undertakes to make appropriate use of the Website in accordance with the law, good faith, public order and generally accepted practice.
The user undertakes, in particular, to refrain from:
- using the Website for unlawful purposes or in a manner that may damage the rights and interests of the Owner or of third parties;
- introducing or spreading computer viruses or any other systems capable of causing damage to the Website or to third-party systems;
- attempting to access restricted areas of the Website or its underlying systems; and
- reproducing, copying, distributing or transforming the content of the Website except as expressly permitted by law or by the Owner.
4. Intellectual and Industrial Property
All content on the Website, including but not limited to texts, teaching materials, documents, audio recordings, images, graphics, logos, the “SpanishWithFede” name and brand, source code, design and structure, is the property of the Owner or of third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property law.
Access to the Website does not grant the user any licence or right of use over such content beyond what is strictly necessary for browsing. Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation of the content, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of the Owner, is expressly prohibited. The licence conditions applicable to purchased digital products are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
5. Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including the platform of the third-party payment provider through which digital products are sold. The Owner does not control such websites and accepts no responsibility for their content, their privacy practices or any damage arising from their use. The inclusion of a link does not imply any association, endorsement or approval by the Owner.
Third parties who wish to establish a link to the Website may do so provided the link connects to the home page, is not presented in a misleading manner and does not imply any relationship with, or endorsement by, the Owner.
6. Exclusion of Liability
The Owner uses reasonable endeavours to keep the information on the Website accurate and up to date and to maintain its availability, but does not warrant that access will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Owner shall not be liable for damage arising from circumstances beyond the Owner’s reasonable control, including failures of telecommunications networks, hosting providers or the user’s own equipment, nor for the misuse of the Website by users. Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

The processing of personal data collected through the Website is governed by the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the Cookie Policy, both of which are available on the Website and form part of its legal documentation.

The Owner reserves the right to amend this Legal Notice at any time in order to adapt it to legislative changes or to changes in the services offered. The version published on the Website at the time of each access shall apply.
9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. Save where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise, any dispute arising in connection with the Website shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Valencia (Spain). Where the user acts as a consumer, the courts of the consumer’s place of domicile shall have jurisdiction in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
